![]() ![]() I noticed that there’s a small white box which was smartly placed under the USB dongle/mouse section. I guess Logitech is really banking on that one and it so happen that I am all hands down to it. I am actually one of those guys who wanted to take a look on how a certain product really looks like before buying the whole thing. The box design was well thought out in my opinion. As you can see – the mouse and the USB dongle are protected by a plastic canopy. I started dissecting the box in a rather careful manner (don’t ask me why – but I do tend to rip here and rip there until I can pry the content out of the box). In terms of durability – Logitech promises us end users that the G602 would be able to endure 20 million clicks on both left and right buttons while at the same time its feet would be able to endure up to 250 kilometers of swiping - making flick shots on FPS games. ![]() 09 Mu (k) and a 0.14 Mu (s) for Static coefficient of friction. ![]() On the Glide section – the G602 is said to have a dynamic coefficient of friction of. Under the Responsiveness section – the G602 is is said to have a USB data format of 15bits/axis while it is said to have a USB report rate of up to 500 reports/second. Under the Tracking section – the Logitech mentioned that the G602 has a resolution of 250-2500 dpi has a max resolution of >20G and has a max speed of up to 80ips or in other relative terms – has the speed up to 2m/sec. On one side you would see the tracking, responsiveness, glide, durability, battery and wireless capabilities of the Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse. The box design is simple and straight up – meaning every information you need is written in the box. I took a moment on checking the stuff that they have posted on the box. The Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse is part of their G product line – “G” for gaming as it is. It was no surprise that they started rolling out peripherals that were said to be designed to meet up the demands of these so-called PC enthusiasts. The thirty five year old Swiss company who had churned out the mass marketed computer mice decided to tap that special audience who refer themselves as PC enthusiasts. A wireless gaming mouse at that.Įnter the Logitech G602 Wireless Gaming Mouse. I was actually planning to buy a cheap wireless mouse of any brand so I can do away with the hassle I would eventually encounter with wired mice and to do away with the “gaming mice” moniker when out of nowhere a balikbayan relative gave me a pasalubong just recently and after ripping off the gift wrap I was suddenly taken aback since I ended up getting a mouse that I needed. There’s also my cat – Gara – who started to see the mouse as a threat and would poke the mouse’s cord every now and then with his claw which makes me cringe. One complaint with the mouse is that for some weird reason – the most least used function of the mouse (well in gaming anyway – can’t say if you can call it as an abuse if you’re using it once in a while while scrolling through web pages, documents and such) – the wheel – gave way to the ghost. Thanks to its supposed aluminum main body – it was quite a heavy mouse even if its weights were all removed (which I actually prefer in the name of motion control). Truth to be told – the Corsair Vengeance M65 was able to take all the left click abuse that I spun out for more than two years. That it would be able to dish out all my harassments since I am after all a heavy left clicker – and when I say I am a heavy clicker – I really spam click a lot whenever I play my favorite FPS games. That it would be able to put up with my demands. At that time – I was really expecting a lot with the said peripheral. I have always thought that whenever you’re buying one you’re actually assured of getting a premium item – considering that a PC mouse is one of the most important peripheral within the computer system nowadays, especially if you’re playing PC games – little did I know there are actually a few mice out there which has branded repeatedly as a “gaming” mice – it couldn’t live up to the abuse being wrought by the simplest casual PC gamer out there.įor some time now – I am currently stuck with a Corsair Vengeance M65 which I had a bought more than two years ago. ![]()
